QT50R R-GAGE® Collision Avoidance Radar Sensors

Banner Engineering QT50R R-GAGE® Collision Avoidance Radar Sensors feature high-sensitivity radar sensors in adjustable-field (AF) and retroreflective (RH) detection options, which are ideal for collision avoidance onboard mobile equipment. The sensors provide analog or discrete outputs for measurement and detection applications. The AF sensors offer a wide beam pattern and detect objects up to 24m away. The RH sensors provide a robust sensing mode and detect objects up to 12m away. The QT50R series has a rugged IP67-rated housing, which remains unaffected by temperature change, ambient light, or harsh weather conditions during use. The sensors operate in the ISM telecommunication band with no required special license. The Banner Engineering QT50R R-GAGE Collision Avoidance Radar Sensors are ideal for use in reach stackers, forklifts, and mining vehicles.

Radar Sensor Solutions

Banner Engineering provides Radar Sensing products that offer the ultimate outdoor sensing solution. The benefits of radar sensing include wind, rain, snow, fog, and sunlight resistance, a long sensing range, a wide operating temperature range, and high resistance to interference or crosstalk. These radar sensors are available in narrow and wide beam patterns. Narrow beam patterns avoid false detection of objects outside of the region of interest, allowing for more precise measurements, while wide beam patterns provide coverage of larger areas and reliable detection of irregular surfaces.
